This GCSE revision book is laid out a little differently to many books of this type. Each left hand page has a question with example answer and exam tips. The opposite right hand page has similar questions on the same topic so knowledge can be tested in a different context. The built in mark scheme helps students identify their errors and how to maximise marks.

This book has a variety of design methods and strategies used by the faculty of industrial design and engineering at the Delft University of Technology. The strategies represent the 3 main ‘pillars’ they say represent design education at the university which are people, business and technology. Each strategy is on a double page spread, with a summary of the strategy, images and tips on how to use it. The format makes it quite easy to dip in and out and strategies range from common ones such as SWOT and SCAMPER to ones specifically designed by the university. Not all strategies are suitable for the classroom but the book is a good teacher resource reference and it might also be suitable for some A level students.
