The artwork measures approximately 16cm wide and is mounted onto white board and displayed in a black plastic frame with a glass window which is approximately (outer frame size 22.5cm x 22.5cm and 3.5cm deep).
Over 24 hours to make.
The image is hand embroidered onto the backing fabric using cotton embroidery threads using satin stitch and a random filling stitch.
The embroidery sits slightly away from the surface of the backing board adding to the 3D effect of the design.
The embroidery is attached a metal ring which has been covered with an embroidered border.
The artwork can be hung or displayed freestanding either using the arm on the back or by standing the frame on its edge.
