ABOUT
Make a Christmas tree shaped fabric decoration with a star that lights up and glows. The light up star is made using e-textiles which are electronic components specially designed for use with textiles fabrics. There are no wires or any soldering to be done and you just sew the components together using specialist conductive thread. The instructions tell you how to make the tree and include photo instructions and trouble shooting tips. The instructions includes information on materials that might be used to make the product, including where e-textiles components might be purchased from.
The product is made using hand embroidery stitches although the layers of material could also be glued together. The finished size is approximately 14cm x 10.5cm.
