Hand embroidered Stainless Steel Sieve bouquet in Black Frame - Abundance (Physical Product)
This artwork is a quirky alternative to a bouquet of flowers. A metal kitchen sieve has been decorated with everlasting fabric flowers hand stitched onto the surface and embellished with hand embroidery and beads. The sieve has been mounted onto black board with a clear acrylic cover and is displayed in a black frame. The sieve has been chosen as the base for the embroidery because the woven wire mesh is similar to traditional embroidery fabrics such as aida and canvas. The use of the sieve also challenges stereotypes of what embroidery techniques can be used for.
The frame can be hung using the hanging hook on the top of the frame.
