Stainless steel tea strainer with the dome decorated with hand embroidery stitches, beads, fabric flowers and other embellishments. The back of the strainer is also decorated. The strainer hangs on a black metal decorative stand which is included.

"Devotion" is an intricate sculpture inspired by floriography, the Victorian language of flowers that assigns symbolic meanings to different blossoms. In Victorian symbolism, red roses represent deep love and romance, while red daisies signify devotion, and white daisies stand for loyalty and purity. The choice of a tea strainer as the embroidery base reflects Victorian design sensibilities, as finely crafted metal mesh tea strainers became popular due to the rise of smaller leaf teas.
This embroidery is completely hand made and has taken over 24 hours to make.
The product is delicate and can't be washed and is for decorative purposes only.
